Vertigo effect
Vertigo effect was introduced by Alfred Hitchcock Vertigo, to convey the effect going on in John "scotties" head.
The main purpose of this effect is to establish a narrative in which the subject remain of the same size in the frame [in focus].
The impact on the audience is more of an optical illusion, e.g: hypnotize, romantic, suspenseful & mysteriousness
Heres a class assignment we did as a practical.
